Golden-plumed parakeet (Leptosittaca branickii)

This species inhabits Andean forest between 1400 and 3600m but its habitat have been lost in around 62%. This species is considered Vulnerable at global and National level. WCS has studied its geographical disitribution and population density in the Central Cordillera of the Andes and we are currently working on the Conservation Managment Plan.
