Given the extensive area of the Saldaña River basin (Tolima), an initial prioritization exercise was conducted to identify key work areas where the alliance could implement impactful interventions for the conservation and protection of the basin.
In this regard, the planning process deemed it appropriate to select three sub-basins: Alto Saldaña, Amoyá, and Cucuana. The selection criteria included ecological importance, level of threat, and strategic interest (partners’ area of operation).
